Gussied up green... yummo!

Gussied up green..... wow. This is one of my all time fav greens. Its so similar to OPI Jasper jade but better! Both the consistency and the wear is better than OPI Jasper Jade. This is a blacked green with a lovely green microshimmer throughout. You only need 2 coats to get the desired colour of the bottle. The wear of this is very good too, I found 4 days wear and no chips.

This is defiantly a colour I will be sporting throughout winter!

By the way what is with the high 30's this week, I am so over summer!

Golds golds... golds

Hi All

Today I thought I would show you some golds. I am not a fan of golds at all... but for some reason I keep buying them????

Anyway the first one is from the OPI Night brights collection. In the pic I have used 2 coats, I was surprised by the fact it actually looked ok against my skin tone.

The second polish have pictured here is charmed by a snake, and let me tell you I am not charmed by it! Ewww!

Enjoy!

China Glaze Harmony

Hi All

Today I thought I would show you the only colour I like from the China Glaze Romantiques collection. All the colours look lovely in the bottle, but this one seems to be the only colour that I actually like on the nails. I found all of the collection to lean towards heavy brush strokes, which I hate! However in saying that these would be a great candidate for konads!

Enjoy!

My blushingham palace is broken..... but in a good way!

Hi All

Today I thought I would show you something I bought a while back. This is Blushingham palace..... but there is something wrong with it.... its BLUE! I am totally in love with this "fake" OPI. This is such a metallic gritty glitter blue that just shimmers like crazy in the sun. I wish OPI would make colours like this rather than their boring cremes all the time, this is just so hot!

Wow talk about a dream boat colour!

Hi All

Today I thought I would show you a colour that caught my eye recently, its Chanel Feu De Russie 347. I am totally in love with this colour! Not only does that colour looks amazing in the bottle but it actually looks hot on the nails too. It is a midnight blue with a aqua shimmer throughout. I am not usually a Chanel polish fan, but when I saw this one I had to get it. I have not seen anything like it.
I LOVE IT!
Enjoy!

Never enough shoes!

Hi All

You have probably noticed that some of my pictures have a border and some don't. The reason for this is that I am thinking the pics actually look nicer without a boarder... what do you think?

Today I have for you Sephora by OPI - Never enough shoes. I am loving this colour!!!!. This is a deep almost black base packed full of golden shimmer. You cannot notice the shimmer in the shade but in the sun ouch watch out. In the pic I have attached you can actually see the glitter in the bottle really well, so it should give you some indication of how stunning it is on the nails.

Enjoy!

Hi All

Today I thought I would show you something green. Everyone talks about this colour, and I am afraid to say it... but I now understand why. This polish is not only a dream to apply but it is packed full of gloss and the wear is excellent. As for the colour I am loving it, even if my fiance thinks it makes me look ill.

Enjoy!

Zoya Twist Collection 2009 - Spring!

Hi All
I finally got my hands on the new Zoya Twist collection, and thank goodness I did... I am in love with it! This is a fantastic collection for spring... and the colours may well see you into summer too! When I saw the promo's for this collection, I was somewhat a little sceptical as to if the colours would suit my skin tone. I have a olive skin tone and I find colours with too much of a yellow base look horrific on me. I am glad to say that the new Zoya collection looks FAB!!
Here are some swatches, the first one being Moxie. This colour is a lovely creamy berry with what looks like a blue undertone throughout it. This has an excellent application, was not streaky at all and with 2 coats you had the desired effect matching the bottle. The lasting quality of this polish was also excellent! ... It reminds me of OPI's My throne for a cranberry scone but only better!. This colour I think could really be worn in winter too, it has a little winter feel to it. I think I am going to have to get a back up bottle of this baby!

Barbie, Hehe great name for this gem of a colour. In the bottle this one looks like a creme, but when you apply this colour it seems a little sheer, so 2-3 coats for this one gives you a lovely colour. As for the colour, I am partial to pinks and love this "barbie" pink. I think the little shimmer throughout is a really lovely effect. This colour defiantly makes me think of spring!

Jo ~ I adore this colour! that's all I want to say.... heheh no I will blab on about this one. This a lovely dreamy blue but packed full of shimmer. I love the fact that this colour looks greyish blue in the sun but in the shade you have a lovely muted sky blue. The application is excellent and 2 coats will sort you out with this colour. I have to say I was sceptical as to as to whether or not this would look ok on me, but my doubts were put to rest as soon as I put it on... I LOVE this colour. I think that this one is my favourite of the whole collection. Its really a summer/spring colour but could brighten up your winter too!

Harley,
This colour is a muted grey/silver with what looks to me a hint of blue. I adore this grey its not too creme but not too shimmer, its PERFECT!

Cassi
Oh Yum this is a great coral pink with lots of shimmer. This one is excellent to apply and looks really "girly". Its defiantly a keeper!
Oh boy I have left my favourite till last. Malia, I am so in love with this colour. This colour is such a dreamy purple. It takes only 2 coats to be fully opaque and totally glossy. I could not stop staring at my nails after I put this one on. It is the best one out of the entire collection and screams SPRING!
Well have to hand it to Zoya they released a great collection for spring!

Dont Panic!

Hi All

Today I thought I would show you a polish that I have been wearing all summer long on my toes. China Glaze purple panic. I am in love with this colour.. I am partial to pinks, but this one is so dreamy. In the picture I have applied 2 coats of polish and 1 coat of topcoat. I find that the wear on this polish is very good, I can go around 4 days without signs of wear (on the hands). With regards to wear on the feet, its obviously going to be better, I can get 2 weeks with it looking like new. A perfect colour for summer!

From the 2006 Holiday Rockettes Collection, this polish is a copper base with a complex red and gold shimmer throughout. It looks amazing in the bottle and even better on the nails. In my pic I have used 2 coats of polish and havent put a topcoat on. This colour is so blingy I love it!

Hi All

Today I thought I would show you some polishes I received a few weeks ago... the 90210 collection for Valentines day. I was really excited when I heard that they were coming out with a collection for this television series but mega disappointed when I saw the colours. However in saying that I decided to buy them to see if they are actually as boring as they looked in the promo... and yes I believe they are... didn't OPI do reds for V Day last year?

Hi All

Today I thought I would show you the nail design I wore last week.... yes a whole week with the same colour on my nails.... have I gone mad? ... hehe no.. just no time to change them.

I normally go 2-3 days before I change my colour how about you?

Anyway back to the pics. In these pictures I have used OPI Extravagance (I posted about this one last week) with Konad nail plate M65. I have to say that this plate is one of my favs. I am a huge fan of the design that covers the nail bed.

KALISTA Konad

Hi All
Today I thought I would show you something I did over the weekend. Reading Nail Juice's review of Kalista... it inspired me to wear this colour over the weekend. I do love this colour on its own... however I couldn't leave it alone... I had to play with it adding a Konad. The colours I have used are Zoya Kalista for base, Richelle for the Konad plate and the Plate number is M65... my favourite plate! I think it worked out pretty well.

Its sooo Extravagance

5 CLICK HERE TO LEAVE A COMMENT
Hi All

I know I know I know, I should be taking some time off to start planning this wedding. For all of you that dont know.. I am getting married in August this year. I am meant to be spending sometime organising things... but of course I am spending time playing with my polishes instead. Look I have my dress sorted.. what more do I need to do?... hahah.

Anyway yesterday I got this one in the mail. I am upset with myself for not getting this one sooner... I am in love with this colour!

The colour I present to you today is OPI Designer Series Extravagance. This polish is from their "diamond dust" series and is somewhat more $$ to buy. In saying that it is truly worth the extra money. The application is amazing and its soooo blingy!. The colour of this polish is truly amazing its a purple but has pink and purple flakes so in some lights it looks more pink. I would not really consider this a holo it is more a heavy packed glitter polish. It does dry somewhat a little dull so you need to slop on the topcoat for this baby. My pics are less topcoat so you will see it looks a little gritty. This one is defiantly worth getting!!!
